We recognize the importance of maintaining our mental health and the critical role professional counseling can play in our relationships and our daily living. The challenges of the last two years, in addition to the normal cares of life, have taken a significant toll on us all. With that in mind, we are offering our partners an opportunity for a “family checkup” with a trusted provider.

Eboni L. Anderson, MSW/LCSW

I am Eboni LaJoie Anderson MSW/LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Therapist.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Tuskegee University and my Master’s degree in Social Work from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My twenty years of work experience include Behavioral Health Therapist for inpatient and outpatient facilities, Mobile Crisis Clinician, Social Service Director for Rehabilitation facilities and Clinician for hospital Emergency departments.

My goal as a clinical therapist is to help clients explore issues, gain emotional insight, prioritize self-care, eliminate self-defeating habits, and develop healthy boundaries in relationships with others.  I believe that therapy should equip you with the tools to overcome your challenges and empower you to live a fuller, deeper, and healthier life.  I strive to make each client be able to recognize their personal worth and resiliency while tackling their trials and burdens.

Dr. Vernessa Bowles

One Touch Psychological Services, PLLC

Dr. Vernessa Bowles has been working in the field of mental health for over 15 years providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She believes that all people have a desire to and the skills needed to improve their life. Through her services, clients are provided tools to empower and understand themselves as well as improve their relationship with others. When clients are provided empathetic listening and effective interpersonal skills, they are better able to deal with anger and stress and communicate more effectively. In the end, a healthier person arises. Dr. Bowles specializes in therapy for depression, trauma, anxiety, couples and family counseling, and parenting support.

Chantia Carter, MSW/LCSW

Art of Peace Wellness, PLLC

Chantia Carter, MSW/LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is a therapist at Art of Peace Wellness, PLLC, in Charlotte NC, with over 20 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Johnson C. Smith University and a Master of Social Work from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her focus as a private practice therapist is on helping people identify stressors and work toward identifying ways to increase inner peace. She provides individual counseling, family therapy, grief support, divorce recovery, and couples therapy/relationship coaching. Her motto is “healing is an inside job.”  

Dr. Keshia D. Keith

Life Interrupted Counseling Services, LLC

Dr. Keshia D. Keith is a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina. She is an author, speaker, and licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC). She is a devoted wife of 21 years to her husband and the proud mother of their two children. Dr. Keith is the owner of Life Interrupted Counseling Services, LLC, where she provides counseling services to individuals and couples. Her passion is to knock down the barriers to care and reduce the stigma associated with mental health, especially within the church. Dr. Keith is also passionate about women who have experienced postpartum depression (PPD), because she has experienced postpartum first-hand. Her experience with PPD led to a “real-life” classroom experience regarding the path to good mental health and self-care. Dr. Keith helps her clients grow through the dry places in life. She hosts her annual "Drop Your Bags" Women's Retreat, now in its 4th year. This is a retreat where women can recharge, refuel, and refocus their lives with emphasis on self-care and re-building women from the inside, out.
