Pastor Almon Young brings a wealth of ministry experience and a heart for God's people to Chosen City Church Barber-Scotia. Trained with the Church of God in Christ, where he was recognized and licensed as an Elder, Pastor Young has served faithfully across multiple denominations, including the Church of God and Church of God in Christ. This diverse ministry background has given him a broad theological foundation and a deep appreciation for unity within the body of Christ.

Pastor Young is passionate about renewing, reviving, and refreshing the people of God with every sermon and every opportunity to minister. He believes in hard work, faith, and creating opportunity rather than waiting for it—never afraid to make his own seat at the table. His leadership is marked by purpose, resilience, and unwavering faith.

He is married to his sweetheart, Rosa, and together they are the proud parents of two adult sons. Through their lives, leadership, and ministry, Pastor Almon and First Lady Rosa Young continue to inspire others to live with boldness, faith, and Kingdom purpose.
